Thomas Thekkethala – RateIntegration, CEO & Chairman

Thomas Thekkethala has over twenty years of diversified experience in founding and leading technology start-ups. He founded the telecom software companies, SRG and CCSS, both of which were successfully acquired in 1994 and 1997. During his career, he has led teams that have developed and deployed technology at the leading telecom service providers in the U.S. Mr. Thekkethala serves on the board of RateIntegration and Ibrix. He has published and presented papers on technology at the major telecommunications conferences nationwide. Mr. Thekkethala holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Information Management from Washington University, St. Louis, where he also served on the School of Engineering faculty for over five years.

 

David Dey - Former BT Board Member and CEO and Chairman of Energis

Mr. Dey brings over 30 years of industry experience to RateIntegration. Having worked at the most senior levels in companies such as British Telecom, Energis, IBM and Plessey; most recently Mr. Dey has been the Executive Chairman of a number of successful early stage ventures such as Alpha Telecom and Neos Networks.

 

Greg Breetz - Dolphin Equity Partners

Mr. Breetz has over 15 years of financial operating experience in all segments of the communications industry - local, long distance and cellular. Most recently, Mr. Breetz served as the South Region CFO of XO Communications, a leading integrated communications provider, where he was responsible for financial operations in the South and Southeast, successfully building and launching nine markets. Before joining XO Communications, Mr. Breetz was the CFO for MCMG, a RSA management company he co founded in 1990. MCMG built, managed and sold ten independent rural cellular telephone markets in the eastern half of the United States. In total, MCMG managed over 200 employees and the sales of these markets totaled over $200 million. Prior to that he led financial operations for McCaw Cellular in the South for three years prior to the sale of the South Region to Contel in 1990. Mr. Breetz holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Kentucky.

 

Shaji John, JT Ventures

Mr. John is the Managing General Partner of JT Venture Partners, one of the company's early investors. Mr. John has over twenty years of experience in founding and leading technology companies and previously held both general management and technical management roles at General Electric Consulting and General Motors. He recently served as the CEO of Ibrix where he developed the vision for the product, formulated the company's strategy and oversaw its successful growth to become the leading provider of scalable file serving solutions. He also worked as a technology investment analyst at MFS Investment Management and was named "Best of the Buy Side" by Institutional Investor magazine before returning to industry. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, an MS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

 

Richard Brekka, Dolphin Equity Partners

Mr. Brekka founded Dolphin in 1998. He is Chairman of the Board of Gomez, Inc. (the leader in web application experience management),and a board member of Enpocket, Inc.(a provider of carrier-grade mobile media, mobile marketing and mobile advertising services), Epic Cycle Interactive (an Internet services firm providing integrated e-business solutions), The Guild (leading online source for artist-made home décor products shipped direct from artists' studios), InQ (an outsourced online chat services company), Island Data Corportion (enterprise feedback management solution), and SeaPass Solutions Inc.(an on-demand connectivity solutions for the insurance industry), which are Dolphin portfolio companies. Mr. Brekka has specialized in software as a service, mobile content, communication services, and internet investing for nearly 17 years.

Prior to founding Dolphin, Mr. Brekka was a Managing Director of CIBC's private equity investment unit and the President of CIBC's U.S. private equity investment subsidiaries. On behalf of CIBC, he served as a director on the board of 10 communications companies. Representative investments included Telesystems International Wireless, Orion Network Systems, Transit Communications and OneComm Communications. Prior to joining CIBC, Mr. Brekka was with Chase Capital and led the investments in Nextel and DisCom Communications. Mr. Brekka holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago.
